I thought some might be interested in listening to a new half hour BBC radio program entitled C.S. Lewis, the Evacuee and the Wardrobe in which Emma Freud tells the story, partly by interviewing her then 98 year old mother, of how her mother, as a child during the Blitz, was evacuated from London and came to live temporarily with C.S. Lewis, and, according to Lewis’s son, Douglas Gresham, serve as an inspiration for Lucy Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia:
