I wonder what Luke, the physician and evangelist companion of apostle Paul would make of how far the medical profession has progressed and what it has achieved since his days.

I wonder if I still have a Taylor Caldwell novel about Luke called "Dear and Glorious physician"

A sunny day is seen as glorious weather, yet I don't very much enjoy being in the sun for too long.

As we've just entered springtime here, the weather is warming up.

Warming or cooling, it seems like someone is always unhappy about the change of seasons.

To the future, to the past - anywhere provided it's together.

There is a season for everything, but no matter what it is, there is always a silver lining, no matter what the trouble is.

My garden is looking quite beautiful this Spring season, with the fruit trees flowering and strawberries growing, and more seeds and seedlings to be planted.

Unfortunately, the rosemary bush in our garden doesn't look as healthy as I'd like.

Apparently, the quote "Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise" has its origins in Benjamin Franklin's 'Poor Richard's Almanack' in 1735.

The origins of the old saying "Sticks & Stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me", was alleged to be in the Christian Recorder, with the rider, "Unless, of course, you let them"
