"I know they don't. But i'm sure they are doing all they can to help her right now" Brian said trying to reasure his friend.

As they were waiting they saw two doctors and a nurse quickly wheeling a pateint on a stretcher, into the emergency room.

Peter quickly rushed to the stretcher, and saw a young man in his twenties laying there, then rushed back to Brian. "Sorry. Just was worried that was Amanda or her friend."

"That's Abigal's boyfriend." THe lady at the desk said, with a sad sigh.

Brian exchanged a glance with Peter. "Her boyfriend....wow. He was in the crash too?"

In shock Peter asked, "That was her fiance? Come on, let's get out of here. The hospital is too depressing."

Brian nodded. "If you want to" he said and glanced over at Justin. "I'll come with you Peter. I'll just go home after we leave. My Mom will probably be upset I've been gone so long" he said with a sigh. "I really hope they're all alright"

Justin offered, "Can I give you boys a ride?"

" That would be great. I'd love one Justin" Brian said, standing up

Nate sighed as was sitting several seats over and looked up as a man passed bye "Kevin?" Nate said as he stood up "Nate? What are you doing back he- You were not supposed to be home until-" Nate cut him off "Levi's dead" Kevin looked down "I'm sorry Nate, but... its what happens in war..." Nate sighed "I'm so glad to see you again"

Justin kindly gave Brian and Peter a ride, but not before looking over to Nate. Seeing that he was with Kevin, Justin decided it would be safe to not offer him a ride. Justin liked Nate and would have given him a ride, but he was already with Kevin. So, as he was driving down the road with Maralyn and the boys, he asked, "Are you boys okay?"

Brian sighed. "I guess so..." he said twirling his thumb's on the middle seat behind him. He had never really been in a hospital before, or really seen people dying, or close to death. It kinda freaked him out.

Suddenely a person from the street corner rushed in front of the car to get across. Luckily Justin was a good driver and slammed on the brakes fast enough so the person wasn't hit.

Peter lurched forward in his seatbelt, then took a deep breath. "That was close."
Justin asked, "Are you okay?"
Peter answered, "No broken bones, if that's what you mean." It had been a year and a half since he had stolen that car and wrecked himself. He felt sweat go down his back, as the memories tumbled thier way inot his mind. "I think I'm going to be sick."

The person they almost hit came to the side of there car. Justin rolled down the window.

"Hey gee, i'm really sorry" he said, brushing his shoulder length black hair from his face. "Hello Justin" he said blushing slightly "Remember me?"

Diane licked her dry lips and tasted something odd. She licked her lip again and then cringed. Was that blood? She must have hit her mouth during the accident. She swallowed. "Where am I?" she whispered out loud, shifting slightly.

"National Treasure 2, then," Chrissa said to Miley. "Sounds good to me. It's a good movie." She slid the disc into the DVD player and turned on the movie.

Justin let out an amused laugh, "Hey Ian. I would be more careful next time if I were you."

Peter did not know what was going on and did not realized Ian was there. He stared straight ahead, no thoughts in his mind and unable to let any words out but a mumble.

Miley was glad to be with Chrissa. "remeber old times?"

"Yeah." Ian said back. "Did anyone get hurt? Really I'm sorry" he said looked around the back of the van. "Hi...Peter? That's your name right. Are you alright?"

"Hey Peter...you okay?" Brian said shaking him gently

"Sh dear, lay down now, don't move around" a kind nurse responded from her bed-side in the hospital room. "You'll be alright, just rest"
