Peter quickly turned around, and ran into Justin's arms. "I really hope she makes it! Amanda's going to be so upset!" He looked into his cousin's eyes.

Justin rubbed Peter's shorn dark hair. "I know." He was impressed by his cousin's growing concern for others, but at the same time sad that Abigal was in suhc bad shape. He turned to Brian. "Does Amanda know how the wreck happened?"

"No, not really. She thinks another car ran into them, but she isn't sure" He said talking forward, toward them.

They all over heard the conversation between the parents and the doctor "Your daughter is dying sir.....dying. Her condidtion is dropping like a crashing jet liner. Her body is shutting down, if you and your wife want to see her one last time you need to be here yesterday

Nate walked in the hospital, looking for Pete and the others... After the accident he had no idea where to go but decided he ha better just go there to check on the victims. Though if one of them died... Nate was already numbed to death scenes.

Justin saw Nate walk into the hospital and looked down to his cousin, for what could soon be the last time with Peter's growth spurt. "Hey, Nate is here."
Peter quickly turned to see Nate and rushed to him. "It's awful!Amanda's leg is broken and her friend, Abigal might be dying!"

"Thats... Horrible" he said numbly... Now two funerals would happen soon.

Peter said, "Well, I'm going to pray for her and I'm going to make sure the doctors revive her." He said this with confidence and determination.

"I'm glad someone took over the "confident" trait in our freindship cause I lost mine" he mumbled under his breath "I hope your right Pete... I-"

Peter silently prayed that Abigal would survive and be okay, then took Nate's Hand. "Come on, what are we waiting for?"

Nate wrenched his hand from Peter's and began walking along side him.

Finally, when they got ot the doctor, Peter said, "You need to try to revive her. You need to keep working and do CPR."

Nate grabbed Peters shoulder and pulled him aside "Listen Pete, if there is one thing I learned in war is that you just cant go ahead and boss people around! They are doing what they can" he said.

The doctor, who had just hung up the phone turned to Peter and Nate. "We are doing all we can for her, we've tried everything, and if there is any way we can save her we will. There are lots of other doctors and nurses with her right now. Now please, go sit down and wait" he said and strode off quckly taking his gloves with him.

Brian came up and put a hand on Peter's shoulder "Hey, it's alright. they are doing all they can. She'll be alright." He said, but didn't sound very confident himself

Peter groaned, "But I hate just doing nothing." He was getting more antsy by the minute.

brian nodded. "Me too....but good things come when you wait. You'll see." he said reasurringly. "Let's go sit down." he said beginning to walk to one of the chairs. "Poor Amanda...I'm sure she'll need alot of comforting if her friend dies.

Peter took a deep breath and sunk into a chair. "I want to make sure she doesn't die. Doctors need prodding. They don't know everything." He kicked the leg of a chair lightly.
