Logan nodded, "Okay, cool. Hope they have a good team here... I'd hate to be stuck on a team of losers, if you know what I mean." He chuckled slightly, and tossed his hair with a jerk of his head again. "So, Pete, what do you do for fun around here?"

Peter smiled, "I like to shoot hoops, kick around soccer balls. I enjoy youth group and singing." He blushed at the way saying he liked to sing sounded and added, "And play guitar. I like hanging out with my girlfriend." He wasn't about to admit he liked to shop as well. "Like any bands?"

Logan listened as Peter described his life. He sounded pretty cool; Logan figured they'd be pretty good friends. "Guitar? That's sweet. I play drums and keyboard; pretty awesome at both." He nodded when Peter asked if he likes any bands. "Oh yeah, sure. I listen to all sorts of stuff - what're your favorites?"

Peter answered, "I like Skillet the most. I also like Linkin Park, The Fray, Tenth Avenue North." He grimaced as he said, "I also like Nick Jonas and the Administration, Jonas Brothers, Zac Efron and Demi Lavado." Sheesh I do sound like a girl. "Oh and I also like Tobymac and Flyleaf." He messaged the back of his neck, touching his short curls.

Logan nodded as he listened to Peter's list, until he got to the part about Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers. He shrugged, "Oh man, I can't stand the Jonas Brothers... but hey, at least you've got some other good ones there. So, is there a skatepark in this town?"

Peter was relieved Logan didn't judge him or call him a sisy, because he wasn't. He didn't like those singers because he wished he were a girl, he liked them for the lyrics and kinda liked the beat and energy put into them. He tried to think of a skatepark. "I think there mgiht be one near the highschool."

Susan sighed, in a thick disgusted tone. "Yeah right. If you cared all this time then why did you never bother calling me. Oh no....I'm not going to listen to that innocent face. Good bye Justin....I just thought I'd tell you, but you don't care. You feel sorry for him not me, if that's they way you want to be!" he glared over at Maralyn who was chatting with Miley " That goes for that baby of yours too..I don't care about it either!" she then stormed away in a rage and flurry

"Just bumped me" Maralyn said looking up at her step-sister. "No harm done." changing the subject she said "I've been having more contractions today.."

Jen saw Peter talking with a boy she had never seen before. Trotting up she stood next to Peter "Hey peter....who this?" she asked pleasantly

Justin stared off, in shock. What was it with girls anyway? One minute they want one thing, the next something. else and back and forth and back and forth. He also didn't like the look she gave Maralyn. Maralyn was jsu ttrying to be a friend. Why did she have to treat Maralyn like that? He went back into the sanctuary and joined Maralyn and Miley

Excited, Miley said, "It's almost time then! You ready?"

Peter put an arm around Jen. "This is my girlfriend, Jen. Jen, this is Logan."

"Sweet, I'll have to check it out. Do you skate at all, Pete?"
Logan nodded to Jen after she approached, and Peter had introduced her. "Hey. Peter and I were just getting to know each other."

Peter shook his head. "I don't really know how. But I can always learn." He almost wanted to talk abotu how he dose like to rescue people from getting hurt, but decided it would be too boastful.
Jen looked at Logan. Not as attractive as Peter, she thought to herself. "Well, you trying out for basketball?"

"Learn? You bet. I'm sure I could teach you." He said with a wink.
Jen asked him if he was trying out for basketball. He chuckled, and swished his hair, as was habit. "I'll do more than just try. Making the team can't be too hard; I've been playing b-ball for years. I can't wait."

Peter said, "Okay, maybe after school you can teach me."

Logan smiled and nodded, "Yeah, it'll be awesome." He glanced at Jen, looking her up and down. "How about you? You can come and watch." He looked back at Peter with a mischievous grin. "So long as Pete doesn't mind his girlfriend watching him learn how to skate. How 'bout it?"

Peter laughed. "I always humiliate myself in front of her so i don't mind if she doesnt."
Jen laughed, "Sure. "I'll videotape it and put it on facebook." She gave Peter a mischevious grin.
Peter laughed, "Go right ahead."

"Alright, then." Logan casually glanced at his watch to see what time it was. "Well, I have to be going now. It was nice meeting both of you, though. See you around." After they had exchanged goodbye's, he turned around and left. Well, there's two new friends, he thought. Maybe this town won't be so bad after all.
