Peter was delighted that she could be with him, Miley and Jen again. He gave her a quick hug. "It's okay." It really was he missed her and besdies, his hair was growing back and where he wanted it. He smiled, at her saying his voice was deeper. "Yeah, I'm becoming a man now."

After church, Justin made his way towards Susan. "Are you okay?"

Amanda said, "We all are sinful." After talking somemore, she was able to submerge the upper half of abigal in water then helped her dry the too of her cast. "When did the doctor say you can get out of the cast?

"You are. And your going into High school now which is beyond awesome! We can talk at the cafeteria. I'm in my last year so I want be there too much longer after the semester." she said and was contented to sit next to him during the sermon.

***(after church)*

Susan looked up at Justin as he strode over to her. For a minute she remembered how close they used to be....and how they used confide in each other, then she cleared her throat and stepped up to him "I broke up with my boy friend"

Maralyn came to stand near her husband, and just staid rather quiet.

"He didn't say" Abigal said a new peace coming over her. "All he said was soon. No given date"

Justin was stunned by this piece of news. "How come?" He put an arm around Maralyn.

Peter found Brian out in the lobby. "Hey. How's it going?"

Brian turned to him and smiled "Pretty good. Excited about High school? I am!"

"Because....we had a fight. He was tired of me being his boss.....we yelled at each other. And that was it" she said and sighed

"Alright. Thank you Amanda. For everything. You are a dear friend" Abigal said and hugged her

Maralyn smiled at Justin as his arm snaked around her. She still staid quiet though

Peter laughed, "Yeah! We are officially men! Trying out for basketball?"

Justin tried to stop himself from feeling bad for her boyfriend. She does get pretty bossy. "Susan, you were always the bossy one. Could there be a deep reason in your heart why you are?"

Amanda hugged Abigal back. "You'll be in a wedding dress before you know it."

"I hope so. I just have to hope I suppose" Abigal said and settled back down on the couch. "I'm famished...what's for lunch?"

Susan glared at him "NO! There isn't!" she snapped "I thought I'd tell you. I'm going to be home alot more now that I'm not seeing him." she looked him up and down "You feel sorry for him don't you? Why don't you feel sorry for me?"

"I hope so if I can fit it in my schedule. My mom's filled things up for the week" he sighed "but life go's on right?"

Justin took a couple deep breaths. "Look, it's not that, I promise." He sighed, as he sat next to her. THen, looked helplessly at Maralyn and mouthed, "help me out here."

On Ian's way out, the guard handed him his belongings. "The next time I see you better not be in a cell." He gave him a wink.

Peter could see the hoplessness in his friend's eyes. "Wonder when they are in highschool?"

Maralyn sighed and put a hand on Susan's shoulder "Well I'm sorry you lost your boyfriend. You'll find another one probably. Just give it some time"

Susan completely ignored Maralyn and looked at Justin "well...since you aren't going to say anything" she got to her feet and shoved her way past Marlayn

Ian chuckled "Don't worry....it won't be he said and waved to him. He never thought he would be waving to a jail guard, and he chuckled at himself

"Yeah. Well I best go! Bye Pete!" Brian called over his shoulder absentmindedly

Justin followed after her. Gosh, how bad was he with girls? He held onto her arm. "Susan, wait."

Peter watched Brian leave, nothicing hesounded a little absentminded. What was wrong? Was Brian saying he wouldnt be able to try out for basketball? He headed towards Justin, who was talking to SUsan. "Oh hey SUsan."

Logan watched the other kids his age conversing and interacting. He tried to pick out each kid's social group: that kid's kind of nerdy... Oh, he's definitely a jock, over there. He knew, of course, that in a matter of days he'd be one of the most popular; he had a natural flair for popularity, new to town or not. Just wait till school starts...
He spotted a particular group of young people; two guys, and a girl. He jerked his head to the right to swish his dark golden hair, and strutted up to the group. "Hey, what's up? I'm Logan."

Peter turned around, suprised someone was actually introducing himself without making fun of him. He ran a hand through his dark, mid neck length curls. "Hey Logan. I am Peter. Just looking forward to basketball tryouts." He put his hand in the pockets of his faded jeans.

"What?" she asked clawing his hand off of her arm. She heard Peter voice, and simply ignored him not wanting to look at his face.

Maralyn stood back silently, a hand on her round stomach. "I wish she wasn't so rude...." she thought

Justin motioned her to somewhere private, then said, "I do love you, sis. That's why I'm trying to help you in future relationships and maybe try to see how I can help you."

Miley noticed Maralyn sitting by herself. "Got hurt by my sister, huh?"

Logan looked Peter over, then grinned. "Basketball, huh? Nice. When are tryouts? I'm sort of new around here."

Glad he approved of his looks, Peter said, "Well,it's my first year of highschool. So, I'm really not sure, but I'm practicing really hard. I could ask the office tomorrow and let you know?"
