Jen circled her hands around Peter's back. ""i'm sorry, Pete." She was at loss for words.

He cried somemore wishing he could say something but was unable to. It was so horrible. What he had done....it had ruined a friendship. He regretted everystep he took in that direction when he was younger. It had poisoned him, and was now was coming back to haunt his life. He silently prayed to God for the strength to go one now. Move on in his tearing life. "Jen.....I'm sorry.....how did you ever like me? How dd you ever like me....ever..." he whispered.

Jen brushed his dark hair from his forehead. "Peter you defended me against bulllies, you forgive others, how could I not?"

"Because of what I've done...." he said back and shook his head looking at her eyes. His own eyes were full of tears....his cheeks were red and damp. His body trembled under all the weight of his past memories. "I can't get over all i've done.....it's ruining my life now..."

Jen could feel Peter's whimpers, as she put her arms around him. Why were Peter's mistakes always coming back to haunt him? She put her hand on his damp pillow, then his cheeks. It was as if she could hear his heart break through his sobs. "Hey, the three of us still have each other and our other friends." Still, it was only a matter of time before their other friends couldn't be with them either.
Miley suggeseted, "We should call Justin."

Peter moved his gaze from Jen's soft touch on his cheeks, to Miley's eyes. "Sure....if you want.....but don't make me talk to him" he said curling up and placing his damp pillow over his head. He cried some more under there, where no one could see him. He didn't want to make Jen see him like this.....it was upsetting her to. His hand snaked out and took her's squeezing it tightly for some comfort. Why did this always have to happen? He found more and more lately what he had done in his past was ruining things in his future. What more damage would it do before it stopped? Would it ever stop? "Why can't.....poeple.....just forget what i've done..." he cried so only Jen could hear.

Miley looked sadly at her cousin. She was sure Justin could be the one to help Peter, but he didn't want to talk. He seemed even sadder than the time when his hair was pulled out. She really hoped he didn't have any hard feelings towards Chrissa. "Chrissa says she's sorry. She texted me."

He peeked out from under the pillow for a very brief second. "She did? Tell her I forgive her. It isn't her fault we can't hang out together anymore, it's mine. My fault, for doing all those horrible things in the past. If I hadn't then there would be nothing to tell about my past and we would be able to talk to each other" He then pulled the pillow farther over his eyes and didn't talk to anyone. But when Jen put a hand on his back, she could feel his sobs.

Miley looked at Jen, sadly. "What are we going to do?"

Justin decided to go visit Ian in jail. WHen he got there, he asked, "So how long you have to be here?"

Ian was again sitting on his bed. His eyes lit up when he saw Justin. "Hey Justin..." he said and walked over shaking his hand through the bars. "The court case is finished, it just got over half an hour ago. They decided my sentence should be six months" Justin could tell by his tone Ian was upset and irritiable.

Jen felt like crying herself as she looked caringly at Peter's form, shaking from his crying on the bed. She leaned down and hugged him, her head laying on his back. "I don't know Miley.....I don't know...." she felt a tear roll down her cheek and it landed on Peter's shirt. "I love you Peter"

Justin nodded, running a hand through his hair. "Well, at least it will give your hair time to grow a little." He shrugged, trying to think of positives. "Do you have a cell mate?"

Peter took a deep breath from the crying, able to sit up. He kept the wet pillow on his lap and rubbed his eyes. "I love you too Jen." He turned to Miley, "And I love you too." Still, the memory of when he stole a car then wrecked it snuck his way in, causing fresh tears to come down. He covered his face in the pillow, an dlay straight flat on his back. "When will it stop?"

"They said I will soon." he said biting his lip. "They say it's a girl." Ianr retreated back into the darker parts of his cell and lay on the bed, looking at Justin. "How is your wife?"

Jen made a face, sitting on his bed, not sure what to say to him anymore. She just carressed his hand and spoke a word or two every once in awhile. "I'm sorry Peter.....I wish I could help you more..."

Justin smirked. "Seriously? A girl cellmate? Whoever said that is pulling your leg." He shook his head, rembering all the garbage people came up with in jail when he was there. "She's fine. We have a baby on the way and are considering adopting a 12 yr old girl."

Miley stepped out of the room, texting Justin to come over. SIghing, she then texted Chrissa: Hey, he says it's ok but he's been crying a lot and we cant get him to stop. Please talk to your mom for us.

Ian nodded slightly pulling at the gloves he had on his hands. They were tight, clothe gloves that covered your palm but not your fingers. "That's good....I hope your baby is healthy" he said trying to make polite conversation to keep himself from, crying or yelling. He felt like the weight of the world was done on his shoulders. All because of a stupid necklace he would have to stay in jail for six months. Six months of almost no contact. It was horrible. He cleared his throat and looked up, his blue eyes flashing. "My lawyer said that they would trying Jimmy, the boy who stole the necklace with, soon. I wonder if we'll be cell mates...."

Chrissa was sitting on her bed, being scolded by her father when her cell phone dinged again.

"what was that?" Her father asked a in gruff tone.

"Just my cell phone Dad" Chrissa said timdidly sticking it under her pillow.

He grunted and continued. "And further more, I don't want you go sneaking off without telling me or my mother again. Do you hear me young lady?"

She nodded. "Yes Dad....."

He nodded and put a hand on her shoulder. "No I love you very much. You know that., but there on certain penalties to your actions. Running away is one of them Chrissa. I'm glad you didn't actually run away this time, but if you actually do and the police catch you, you know that Juvenile Detention will be their only option. I'm sorry, but that's just the facts. Please think about it...." he then gave her a small smile and left her room.

Chrissa swallowed and took her cellphone out, reading the text message from Miley. "Oh now..." she gasped and quickly answered back 'I'm so sorry....I didn't mean to make him cry. You have to believe I'm sorry Miley. I'll try to talk to my Mom and Dad but so far it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to see you'

Miley was stroking her cousin's jaw length curls, when he phone beeped. She sighed when she saw she would not be able to see Chrissa gain, but did not want to say anything that would bring more tears to her little cousin's eyes.
