Instead of the usual Summer G&B Competition, we will have two different events starting in July. Within these events, there will be a mini competition, however, one does not have to be part of the competition to participate in the events. One of the events is a Mystery Mansion, which will be hosted in Ditto Town. This will be a fun, member-driven story appropriate for both seasoned writers and newbies alike. The other option is the Voyage of the Dawn Treader Reading Group. The Reading Group will, of course, work through this book in the Chronicles of Narnia together, reading and discussing the story and its interpretations. Each event will also feature a variety of achievements, where participants can earn prizes (which mainly consist of bragging rights and in some cases graphics) for each chapter or story section. For example in the Reading Group, achievements such as "First Poster" could only be earned by one person per chapter but there will also be achievements that can be earned by multiple people per chapter. Here is a sample of what a reading group achievement would look like: We will open a thread where competitors can post about their accomplishments. People who are involved in both would have more achievements to post. If your are interested in organizing in teams and having us assign a point value for the achievements and keep score on a forum level, please let us know in this tread.
